The PLUS™ caplets are not as white as previous bottles were, has the product changed?
You may have noticed that your PLUS™ caplets now have a more natural appearance. Some recent developments in our manufacturer’s coating technologies have given us the opportunity to modify the coating of our PLUS caplets in favor of a more natural caramel colorant. For years, we’ve heard from our customers that PLUS looked too medicinal due to the stark white color, so we changed to a new all natural colorant. Just like real food in nature, the natural colorant will become a little darker over time and will also change with more exposure to light and air. The natural ingredients may also allow for some variations in color from bottle to bottle, or even from caplet to caplet. This is normal and can occur with many of our products. The active ingredients in the product did not change; we have simply improved the coating on the outside of the caplets.
The PLUS™ caplets have a different odor than previous bottles of products had, has the product changed?
Our switch to a more natural coating allows some of the product’s natural ingredients to permeate, so you may detect a slight odor that you didn’t previously notice. This is a natural occurrence and only reflects the product’s natural ingredients. You’ll also notice this occurring with PhytoMatrix, Ambrotose, PhytAloe and many of our other natural products.
I am allergic to aloe vera. Can I use products that contain Ambrotose® complex?
